Hi, I'm Samuel Farrand — born, raised, and currently living in the U.S. I've always been a creator in some form for as long as I can remember, but everything changed in the late '90s when art took on a whole new meaning for me.
That moment came on a spring night in 1999 at my first rave — the night of my first full-on psychedelic experience. What I saw and felt moved me so deeply that I made a promise to myself: I would recreate those inner experiences so others could see and feel those states of mind — and that’s exactly what I’ve done ever since.
It felt like a life mission. I dropped out of college where I was studying computer networking, and for the next decade, I devoted myself to tapping into my inner vision. Eventually, I took that mission even further by attending a private art school, where I studied fine art, illustration, art history, and graphic design.
What began as simple 10-layer collages in Photoshop has now spiraled into something much more massive — over 450 original visionary art pieces, each averaging 100+ million pixels, 300+ layers, and 80+ hours of work per piece.
