Jicuri Visionary Art Collection

Jicuri (or Híkuri) is the Huichol (Wixárika) word for a sacred cactus, revered as a gateway to the spirit world. In this piece, I created a cosmic interpretation of the plant spirit—depicting it as a nierika, the Huichol word for portal, symbolizing its role as a bridge to spiritual realms.

I wanted this piece to feel activating and electrifying, using ghostly glows and vivid, high-frequency colors to honor the sacred energy and mystical presence this plant symbolizes.
