Bovinity Visionary Art Collection

Bovinity is a portmanteau of bovine and divinity—a fusion of ancient Egyptian and Mesopotamian aesthetics that depicts the worship of Hathor and the Golden Calf. Cows have been revered across countless ancient cultures—another well-known example being Nandi in Hinduism. Today, however, we slaughter them by the thousands, often without a second thought.

This piece was created to rekindle awareness of the sacred status once held by this animal. An animal once sacrificed in spiritual reverence is now sacrificed daily for consumption—contributing to rising rates of cancer and heart disease.

Just a thought... maybe we’re not meant to eat cows every day?
